Meet the Teacher

Teacher Heather has been working in early childhood since 2011. She has a degree from the University of Oregon in Early Childhood Psychology, and continues to seek education in the Reggio Emilia approach to education. She is a wife and mother to two older children, and is passionate about the socioemotional and spiritual wellbeing of young children. She studies attachment theory and believes that children are born wise and worthy of respect and autonomy. 

When is is not teaching, Heather is a multi-faith Spiritual Director, a forest bathing guide, and writes for a variety of mediums. She enjoys reading, and enjoying the outdoors with her family and three dogs.
